Many of you already know this, but I run my personal training business out of my garage. That may sound a little sketchy, but it's actually a really nice set up. My amazing husband sacrificed his ENTIRE garage and worked many many hours to transform the space into a gym. If you have never seen it, feel free to check out the brief tour video on this page. The little gym that I have is great, but lately things have felt a bit crowded. My boot camps have been growing, which is wonderful, but it feels like we can't really spread out.
Recently I was taking my boys to play at a facility called JUMP here in Gig Harbor and it hit me: They have a huge space (with lots of bouncy houses) that would be perfect for a boot camp! This is a facility that promotes exercise and movement for the little ones, so what a perfect place to encourage the parents to do the same! After meeting with the owner, he graciously agreed to let me bring my evening and weekend boot camps into his space! (Sorry about all the exclamation points. I'm very excited about this!)
Beginning this Saturday, February 2nd at 9am, Fischer Fitness U will be held at JUMP on Monday and Wednesday evenings at 5:30pm and Saturday mornings at 9am. We will be able to do so much more, so get ready to amp up our already challenging workouts! If you have been wondering what you can do to get in shape this year, why don't you join us?
Unfortunately, the bounce houses will not be inflated and JUMP will not be open for drop in play, so this is not a "kid-friendly" workout. This is a time for you, the parents, to take care of yourselves. Make yourself a priority and come take your fitness to a higher level. By the way, if your kiddos are in need of some exercise and you need to get them away from those video games, check out JUMP's drop in play schedule. Who doesn't love to bounce?
